Malika Favre: from illustration to capsule wardrobe. (Ep. 8)

It's time to switch it up a bit with today's art inspired capsule. Malika Favre is a French artist whose bold, minimal style of illustration has led to collaborations with The New Yorker, Vogue, Penguin Books, and many other established names.

I've taken her Le Crazy collection of illustrations for today's capsule inspiration because I wanted to step away from the wide variety of colours I usually draw inspiration from and see what the result would be when showing some restraint.

Malika's bold colours, perfect use of negative space and dramatic settings have led me to create an interchangeable wonder wardrobe that consists out of 8 tops, 5 bottoms and 2 dresses. The 42 resulting outfits have a dramatic style with creative elements.
